The Symphotec microphone system was developed for improved acoustic recording and reproduction of classical orchestras.
It comprises a combination of visually discreet omnidirectional and cardioid microphones complimented by active routers that sub-mix individual instrument groups on-stage, significantly reducing the number of input channels required for the entire orchestra.
