Founded in 1824, the National Gallery houses one of the greatest collections of Western European paintings in the world at its building on the north side of Trafalgar Square, London WC2.
There are approximately 2,300 pictures in the collection, among them many masterpieces by artists such as Caravaggio, Cézanne, Constable, Goya, Holbein, Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Rubens, Titian, and Velázquez.
Within the Gallery there is a range of elegant event spaces which can accommodate everything from a private breakfast tour or intimate lunch, through to a magnificent dinner or drinks reception alongside some of the world’s most iconic works of art. The Gallery can host multiple events at the same time both during the day and out-of-hours.
