Jim Cregan & Co at Delta Sound UK

Concerts

Delta Sound was pleased to welcome guitarist and songwriter Jim Cregan and his band Cregan & Co to its recording studio recently ahead of their live performance at the 10th Anniversary of the Caron Keating Foundation which took place at  The Dorchester Hotel on the 22nd of November.

Cregan & Co features Rod Stewart’s guitarist Jim Cregan, Ben Mills on vocals/ guitar, Pat Davey on bass, Sam Tanner on keys and Kenney Jones of The Faces and The Who who played drums for this particular performance.

The band were joined by vocal trio, Woman, who delivered their pinpoint harmonies on tracks including Cockney Rebel’s ‘Make Me Smile’ (Come up and see me).

The band later performed at The Dorchester to a packed audience of celebrities and the family of Caron Keating who raised an amazing £100,000 for the charity.  The aim of the foundation is to give a significant number of grants to small charities throughout Britain, as opposed to trying to raise money towards huge building projects or research which involves millions.

Delta Sound delivered audio and lighting services to the event which also featured a wonderful performance from Sophie Ellis-Bexter and an impressive auction hosted by Philip Schofield and Lord Archer.
