Case study: Polygon Live at Wonderfruit Festival

A look at our most recent collaboration with Polygon Productions.

Polygon used our DeltaLive L-ISA demo room, which is the ideal space for content creation, for the Wonderfruit Festival in Thailand.

Case study: BBC Proms

In 2018 the world’s largest classical music festival adopted L-ISA to cover its musically rich and diverse program.

That year saw it work with a variety of great artists, conductors and orchestras, encompassing live concerts from world class performers from the fields of reggae, jazz, folk, rock, Indie, EDM, fully staged musical theatre shows and, of course, classical. Some 5,500 audience members we able to enjoy the clarity and immersion offered by the design, which subsequently won the 2018 Pro Sound News award for Best Audio Installation. The high resolution of multiple hangs above the stage specifically benefitted the Proms, whereby transparent amplification of orchestral instruments sounded acoustic and natural, thereby preserving the integrity of the work of the conductor.

Case study: Wonderfruit Festival – Polygon Live Stage

Deltalive delivered a 360 degree L-ISA design to the Polygon Live immersive stage at Thailand’s dance music festival at the end of 2018.

For four days, the twenty-five-meter polygonal venue played hosted to world leading underground house and techno DJs and live acts, promising a 3-dimensional audio and visual experience for revellers. In the run up to the event, our L-ISA Labs played host to a variety of artists and DJs so that they could understand the potential of the technology and subsequently expand their repertoire with the new creative tools afforded to them.

Case study: alt-J

To celebrate the end of their 2018 world tour, indie rockers alt-J performed two sold out shows at the Royal Albert Hall using an L-ISA system, with the aim of enhancing their already sonically complex performances.

With a seven positions over the stage, the mix of live instruments and electronic sounds were perfectly placed for the audience to hear the band with clarity. An additional 10 surround loudspeaker positions around the auditorium were utilised with specially created sound effects and audio content, drawing the listeners further into the Hyper real experience.
