Legoland Windsor Fireworks 2019

DeltaLive are once again providing the audio for the annual fireworks shows at Legoland Windsor Resort. “This is now the sixteenth year that we’ve been supplying the audio for this event, in conjunction with Sound Designer, Dave Shepherd.” Said Griff Hewis, Associate at DeltaLive.

We supplied both the audio and communications for this event and this included providing audio to six different areas in the resort, incorporating nearly 2km of Fibre Optic cable and over 120 individual L-Acoustics speakers. As the Legoland fireworks were set to music, it was really important that the sound supplied was clear and audible. DeltaLive are experts in sound design, ensuring that the sound coverage for each event that we work on is clear and covers the space required. Indoors or out.

For the communications, the show was controlled remotely from the DeltaLive hub in our communication vehicle, with Riedel Mediornet Infrastructure providing the network for the CCTV, Audio and Lighting departments. We also supplied a global wireless audio backup, around the resort, in case of any unexpected network failures.”

A live pre-show event is stage in the Miniland and Harbour areas of the Park before the display. Despite the amount of rain this year, the system has performed flawlessly. The fireworks spectacular took place from 25-26 October with the final displays taking place over the past weekend.
