From UHF-R to Axient Digital

Shure Axient Digital

A “natural move” for Delta Live

Due to continued high demand Delta Live has recently increased its stock of top-tier radio microphones.

We have taken delivery of a number of Shure Axient Digital radio microphone systems which will be used across several of our major events this summer and into the autumn.

Operations Director Jon Bell explains “We’ve bought 30 channels of Axient Digital as a first step in moving across from UHF-R. The system comprises of 30 Shure AD2 handhelds with KSM8 and VP68 capsules in black and nickel, along with 30 AD1 lapel transmitters, all using Shure’s SB900A rechargeable batteries, with dual-channel AD4D and quad-channel AD4Q receivers, being fed from AXT630 distribution amplifiers.

“This is a natural move for us and it fits very well with our existing stock, and helps moving into the future with the 700 MHz-band clearance. The spectral efficiency, clarity, scalability and signal stability are all outstanding. I expect both our clients and ourselves to be very happy with these new systems”.
