The BBC Proms Season 2016 has been officially released and Delta attended the launch.

The Proms’ new director David Pickard says this year’s programme has been specifically written to bring “the best of classical music to the widest possible audience”. This can’t be argued with a Late Night Prom being dedicated to David Bowie, Strictly Come Dancing taking over the Arena floor for a night, and another prom being relocated to a car park in Peckham.

BBC Music’s classical music initiative ‘Ten Pieces’ will be returning this year with two matinee performances titled ‘Ten Pieces II’, as well as Jamie Cullum hosting a night along with special guests and new artists from BBC Music Introducing.

Delta will once again be providing everything sound to what promises to be another great year at the Proms.
