Celebrating Silk in the Iconic Wallace Collection’s Courtyard

Being appointed as a Queen’s Council (taking Silk) is an occasion worth celebrating. DeltaLive recently provided full audio and lighting services for the Silk Reception for Tanfield Chambers, who specialise in Real Estate and Property Law, set within the beautiful Courtyard at the Wallace Collection in London.

For this exclusive, intimate occasion, DeltaLive was briefed to provide a variety of light background music to set the tone of the event, along with amplification for the speeches during the course of the evening. A range of white X8 loudspeakers from L-Acoustics were selected, naturally blending into the background, making them an ideal, discreet option. The result was stylish and exactly to brief.

To further enhance the ambiance DeltaLive provided atmospheric uplighting, designed to fill the perimeter of the Courtyard with hues of pinks, purples and blues, creating a contemporary feel within the space. Additionally, a bespoke leaf-patterned wall wash, inspired by the beginning of Spring, added a playful element to the contemporary design. To complete the look and to ensure that the beautiful floral arrangements were shown to their best, pin-spot lights were used to highlight the floral displays, which were set in the Courtyard’s urns.
