Delta Sound provided the FOH Console and Comms System for Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story Live at Al Raha Theatre, Abu Dhabi.
The console was a DiGiCo SD5, with an SD Rack over Optocore, along with which we provided on-site support throughout the show. The comms system consisted of 12 Freespeak wireless packs and 20 hardwired packs, over 4 party lines to allow the various departments their own discreet channel. The show channel was also interfaced with the Motorola Radios to allow communication with the rest of the team should it be required.
Communications were key for the automation system used for flying performers around the venue, allowing this to be done safely and successfully.
The show was a great success both technically and as a whole, and the team were a pleasure to work with.
