Sweet Harmony at Saatchi Gallery

The Saatchi Gallery is currently hosting the Sweet Harmony: Rave | Today. The exhibition takes a look at rave culture, an immersive retrospective exhibition devoted to presenting a revolutionary survey of rave culture through the voices and lenses of those who experienced it.

Featuring in gallery eight, Lost Souls Of Saturn ‘Transmission’ is a joint project by renowned electronic music DJ and producer Seth Troxler and Phil Moffa, DJ, producer and sound installation artist.

“Rave culture and, most importantly, electronic music has been the basis of my entire life… The impromptu dance floors in warehouses, and those in clubs such as Motor, The Works, and Tangent Gallery were the places where we met, built our networks and gave many of us the first opportunities to present our ideas to the public. A public that also served as an extended or replacement family. A family that, for me, would form the core contributors in the work we are presenting in ‘Transmission’.” Notes Seth Troxler.

Their installation combines music, imagery and storytelling into an inextricably linked whole. This multidisciplinary project was inspired by seminal artists such as The Orb, Mark Leckey and David Morales.

DeltaLive supported Lost Souls of Saturn by installing the point source X series loudspeakers and SB Subwoofers.

Sweet Harmony features multimedia room installations and audio-visual works by some of the rave movements’ most prolific and authentic visual commentators. The exhibition is open until 14th September 2019.
