We had a busy time this May. Alongside working on the Royal Wedding, we also helped The Old Vic Theatre celebrate its 200th birthday.
We provided sound reinforcement for the evening gala, which was attended by many famous faces joining in the celebrations.
Some familiar faces were the likes of Judy Dench, Sting, comedians Tim Minchin and Matt Lucas, Harry Potter actress Imelda Staunton, Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan and Dracula Untold actor Luke Evans, to name a few.
The Old Vic is London’s independent theatre, based just outside of Waterloo Station. For over two centuries, it has played a significant role in developing the cultural landscape of the UK.
Throughout it’s history, ground-breaking productions, social mobility and inclusion have remained central to the theatre’s work; both on and off stage.
It was a very glamourous event with the stars dressed to impress in sparkling gowns and tuxedos. The evening consisted of a variety of performances, such as musicians, comedians and dance numbers to celebrate the variety of the theatre’s shows.
