Sustainable Sound

As part of our continued efforts to consider the environment and our footprint in it, DeltaLive are constantly looking at ways to improve our sustainability. So, we were delighted to update our stock of radio microphones to rechargeable versions. Part of our sustainable sound innitiative.

DeltaLive now stock the rechargeable Shure Axient Digital range of radio microphones. “The decision to supply these microphones is part of our continued effort to think green, think sustainable sound.” Notes Phill Chapman, Operations Manager, DeltaLive. “We always consider the quality of the equipment that we’re going to be purchasing. Is it a good product, does it meet and/ or exceed our expectations? Will it improve our offer? Is it the most sustainable option available? We recently deployed this range of microphone for Britain’s Got Talent. Normally over the filming period we would use many hundreds of batteries. Instead, by using the lithium ion rechargeable batteries and networked chargers we had visibility and remote monitoring of aspects such as remaining runtime in hours and minutes and charging status. This allows us  to offer equipment that lasts for longer, is better for the environment and delivers superior audio quality.

DeltaLive Shure Axient Digital Range

We have over 80 Channels of Axient available with AD1/ ADX1/ ADX1M Bodypacks and AD2/ ADX2/ ADX2FD Handheld Transmitters with assorted capsules including KSM9 & KSM8s. We have also invested in AXT600 Spectrum Managers, AD610 Showlink Accesspoints and AXT630ADA Distribution Amplifiers.
