ACE Charity Gala – The Saatchi Gallery

Events, UK

With Jean-Pierre Jouyet, the French Ambassador to the UK, present, production needed to be at the top level. So of course Delta were happy to help.

Earlier this year we worked upon a fundraising event for ACE, a French based charity which raises funds for the benefit of students attending the French school Charles de Gaulle of London.

In a celebration of national pride, we turned Gallery 7 of the Saatchi Gallery into a large French flag. This was achieved through use of red, white and blue lighting, alongside a range of pattern-wash ceiling lights for atmospheric effect.

The event featured a live auction, and an evening-long silent auction as well as much dancing, courtesy of the DJ provided by the music management company Young Gun’s.

The charity is run by an association of volunteers and parents and their main goal has always been to ensure that all of the 4000 students attending the school have an equal chance to unlock their potential, no matter their background.

ACE wishes to unite parents around values such as solidarity, inclusion and diversity, while respecting the principles of secularism, academic neutrality, objectivity and tolerance, on which French public education is based.

The charity also provides financial assistance to families whose children have special educational needs.

The evening was a huge success and a lot of funds were raised for the charity over the course of the night.
