England’s longest reigning Monarch, Queen Elisabeth II, celebrated her 92nd Birthday with help from Delta Live.
As most of you with access to a newspaper or a television will be aware, the Queen celebrated her 92nd birthday over the weekend at the Royal Albert Hall. Lucky for us, we were invited to celebrate alongside her at the hall, rather than from opposite our television sets.
The catch: we were to provide the audio (not a terrible trade, considering we’re in the audio-providing business!).
The celebration was attended by Her Majesty herself, alongside other prominent members of the Royal Family such as Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry alongside fiancé Meghan Markle.
The diverse range of performers included the music icons Sir Tom Jones, Kylie Minogue and Sting, alongside the current chart topper Shawn Mendez and other contemporary musicians such as Craig David and Shaggy. There were also classic musical numbers and swing favourites accompanied by the BBC Concert Orchestra.
