The beauty of the venue, coupled with the beauty of Barcelona, certainly made this a job to remember.
In February this year the academic publishing company Springer Nature held its annual company conference in Barcelona, for all of its international departments to attend.
Working for the Creative Agency Just Add Water, Delta were pleased to provide the audio for this corporate conference, which started at the W Hotel and consisted of talks about the company’s future strategies and workshops for its attendees.
The event then progressed to the company gala, which started with dinner and followed with drinks whilst a range of talented musicians added to the ambience of the night. The gala was held at the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya (MNAC), a gallery with a famous collection of Catalan art.
The beautifully domed architecture of the Oval room made this venue an interesting place to set up our PA system. However we took this in our stride, having a sense of familiarity from our equally architecturally interesting London venues, such as The Natural History Museum and the Tate Modern.
Using two hangs of L-Acoustics KARA loudspeakers, alongside two hangs of KIVA, the grand room was perfectly filled with smooth audio coverage for the night.
