AIM Independent Music Awards

The AIM Independent Music Awards

DeltaLive are the in-house sound suppliers at the Roundhouse in Camden, London. As such we get to work on an exciting variety of projects, hosted at the venue. For example, the AIM Independent Music Awards 2019.

After the summer break, we are back at The Roundhouse. The season opened with glitz and glamour, with the Association of Independent Music (AIM) Awards 2019. This not-for-profit trade body exclusively represents the UK’s independent music sector. This year will denote 20 years of the Association of Independent Music. The Association champions ‘industry-leading creativity, innovation, and performance shown by independent artists, labels and outstanding individuals.’ For the last eight years the AIM Awards have honoured a wide selection of independent artists. These have included Adelle, Bjork, Stormzy and The Prodigy, amongst others.

Cara Smith, Project Manager at DeltaLive said: “It was brilliant to work alongside AIM and Design Scene on this event, celebrating one of the most exciting parts of our industry. It was also a major personal highlight to watch Johnny Marr collect his pioneer award and then preform later in the evening!”

The awards featured performances by London rapper Ms Banks, electro-pop Let’s Eat Grandma along with DJ sets from Heavenly Jukebox and BBE Music.
